1.Chick pea/ Besan flour - 1 cup
2.canola oil - 1 tsp
3.Asafoetida - a pinch
4.Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
5.Salt - to taste
6.Sufficient water to knead.
1.Preheat the oven at 250 deg.
2.Mix all the ingredients and knead to a soft dough.
3.Grease the mould and baking sheet with little bit of oil.
4.Fill the dough in the Sev mould and try to press it on the baking sheet.
5.Bake the sev to 5 to 7 mts or till it turns golden brown.
6.Leave it to cool, after that can break into pieces and store it in the air tight box.
7.We enjoyed this baked sev with Ragda patties.
I tried this baked sev , when i was in diet. It will tastes good and healthy without using much oil.
